Marsh broker Jodie Sharman has won the Victorian and Tasmanian state category for the top young professional insurance broker.

She was presented with the award by Vero Commercial Insurance Executive Manager Andrew Borden at the National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) Victoria Ball in Melbourne on Saturday night.

Sponsored by Vero, the Warren Tickle Memorial Award recognises outstanding standards of professionalism and integrity among brokers aged under 35. The award is named after the late Warren Tickle, a former insurance commissioner and industry educator.

Ms Sharman will join the other state finalists at the NIBA Convention on the Gold Coast in October, where the Warren Tickle award winner will be named.
