Vero has introduced a free online tutorial to help brokers better understand the needs of SME clients.

The tool was developed based on findings from the latest Vero SME Insurance Index, published earlier this year.

“Investing in training to help build this understanding could reap real rewards for brokers, both in the short term and over time,” the insurer says.

“Understanding these nuances could help reshape brokers’ relationships and approach to these clients.”

One of the index’s key findings is that clients seek assistance from brokers to manage business risks.

“This creates a great opportunity for brokers to become more than an insurance expert and to adopt the role of trusted business adviser with their clients,” Vero says.
