Vero will host its second live national webcast for brokers tomorrow to discuss the industry’s response to recent natural disasters.

LMI Group MD Allan Manning will join Vero EGM Intermediated Distribution Andrew Mair to discuss a number of issues currently facing brokers such as assessment and repair, proximate cause losses and business interruption.

“We know brokers want answers and we’re doing everything we can to speed up the claims process and provide timely, fair resolutions,” Mr Mair told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

The previous Vero webcast was viewed by an estimated 1000 brokers.

Tomorrow’s 30-minute webcast will begin at 3.30pm AEDT and will again be moderated by insuranceNEWS.com.au Publisher Terry McMullan.

It can be viewed by logging on to www.vero.com.au, and brokers are being urged to submit any questions prior to the broadcast by emailing veroinformation@vero.com.au.
