Young brokers across Australia are being encouraged to enter the Warren Tickle Memorial Award.

The long-time sponsor of the award, Vero, has been holding functions around Australia to ensure young professionals are aware of the rewards of entering. Apart from the market exposure and learning opportunities, the winner also gets a free trip for two to London.

The award is managed by the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA), and honours Warren Tickle, Australia’s first Insurance Commissioner and a pioneer for professional education.

It recognises outstanding standards of professionalism and integrity among brokers aged under 35. Finalists are selected from each of five regions, with the winner named at the NIBA Convention in October.

Nominations close on April 30.
