Vero is celebrating its 180-year history with a competition challenging brokers to match the company’s timeline against key Australian milestones.

Prizes include a $5000 Flight Centre travel voucher and $500 prepaid Visa cards. Brokers can register on the Vero website – or by clicking on Vero’s ad in today’s Regulatory & Government section – with the competition running over nine weeks.

The Vero timeline includes payment by the company’s predecessor of its first life assurance claim in 1833. The payout was for £2000, the equivalent of $750,000 today.
