Stadiums Australia, Echo Entertainment and Elders have won this year’s Vero Insurance RMAdvancer awards for risk management.

“These organisations have all extensively identified the risks within their business and have taken innovate approaches to mitigate them,” Suncorp Commercial Insurance EGM Darren O’Connell said.

Stadiums Queensland won the property risk management award for its efforts to mitigate flood risks at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium and Queensland Tennis Centre.

Echo Entertainment took the liability risk management prize for its work reducing the danger of slips, trips and falls at The Star casino and entertainment precinct in Sydney.

Agribusiness company Elders won the motor vehicle risk management award for initiatives to improve driver safety in the business following a fatality in March last year.

Vero’s most recent analysis of Elders’ vehicle claims identified a 35% drop in the number of large-loss crashes causing claims of more than $15,000.
