Vero gets up close with Wallabies as Lions kick off

Vero has launched a competition for the British and Irish Lions rugby union tour of Australia offering seats at matches around the country.

The competition is backed by a video advertisement featuring the Wallabies, with the tag line “See things others don’t”.

The ad was filmed at a training session, where more than 35 high definition miniature cameras were attached to the players’ bodies and the ball.

A Suncorp spokesman told insuranceNEWS.com.au the competition is open to everyone.

“We are using it to amplify the message about brokers to as many people as possible. Brokers are encouraged to share it around.”

“Working with brokers as closely as Vero does, we understand they bring their own perspective to solving clients’ problems,” EGM Distribution Andrew Mair said. “That’s why the theme of our new ad is so relevant.”

The commercial will be shown at all Wallabies rugby matches including the Bledisloe Cup against New Zealand and at test matches between the Wallabies and the Lions. The tour begins in Perth on Wednesday and finishes in Sydney on July 6.
