Kieran McAllister has been appointed Broker Support Manager at United Insurance Group.

He was previously broker support co-ordinator at NAS Insurance Brokers, and he has worked in a variety of roles at IAG, Calliden, McLardy McShane, OAMPS and Irish insurer Culleton.

United GM Trevor Howard told insuranceNEWS.com.au Mr McAllister’s experience as an underwriter, broker and in authorised representative support makes him a “great candidate” for the expanding business.

“With our business model, it’s important that people have broad experience,” he said. “Kieran is also a great networker. We didn’t need to introduce him because everyone knew him.”

It is not the first time Mr McAllister and Mr Howard have shared a desk. They went to school together about 40 years ago in country Victoria.
