The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) has received seven nominations for four vacancies on its board of directors.

Four retiring directors will seek re-election: Deputy Chairman Lyndon Turner (CEO, NM Insurance); Company Secretary Peter Fryer (Underwriting Governance Manager, XL Catlin); Peter Marshall (Business Development Manager, ProRisk); and Kurt Nilsen (MD, Lion Underwriting).

The other nominees are: Bobby Lehane (CEO, CHU Underwriting Agencies); Michael Murphy (CEO, UAA); and Suzie White (Head of Life, Accident and Health, Beazley Underwriting).

Directors are elected for two-year terms.

UAC’s annual general meeting will be held in Sydney on Thursday.
