Members of the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) will have to choose from six candidates when they elect four board members at the annual general meeting next month.

Chairman Heath Amber from Millennium and Treasurer Linda King from Sterling are both seeking re-election.

Other candidates are David Lamb from Sportscover, Suzie White from Beazley, Murray Rosser from Rosser Underwriting in New Zealand and Emily Walker from Axis Underwriting.

Jo Lindsay-Eschbank from SUA and Steve Boucher from Sportscover are retiring from the board.

UAC directors serve two-year terms and each voting member company is entitled to cast one vote.

Board members who do not face an election this year are Deputy Chairman Lyndon Turner (NM Insurance), Kurt Nilsen (SUA), Peter Fryer (Catlin), Peter Marshall (Prorisk) and Greg Thompson (UAA).
