Young professionals and their more senior managers will be in the spotlight at the Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) professional development day in Sydney on December 6.

Information to be presented at the event for underwriting agency staff is split into two sessions.

UAC’s morning sessions will be especially useful for young professionals, while the afternoon sessions will meet the needs of middle to senior managers.

Topics range from protecting binders through risk management to business communication skills and social media for business.

The afternoon sessions will feature presenters from Mapdata Services, Arch Underwriting and Quantium speaking on emerging technologies and the tools to increase control and improve reporting of underwriting results.
