UAC seeks ‘faces’ for ad campaign
The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) wants members to star in a new advertising campaign.
Chosen participants will be photographed and interviewed about their work, the value of agencies and UAC, with the content featuring in ads and other material.
GM William Legge says the council must regularly update promotional material to ensure it remains effective.
“People start to not even see it after a while,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “Every 30 to 36 months or so we want to refresh the program.”
The proposed “face of UAC” concept has preliminary approval and may be launched later this year.
UAC wants members to suggest suitable candidates, and is seeking diversity across gender, age, background and stage of career.
Eight people will feature in the initial program, but others could be required later as the campaign progresses.
