The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) has produced a sponsorship proposal for its Sydney Underwriting Expo on March 9 at the Hilton hotel.

The proposal is intended to provide an opportunity for insurers, underwriting agencies and service providers which have sought increased participation in the 19-year-old annual event.

“Four of the available options were snapped up very quickly and we’re in talks with other potential sponsors,” UAC GM William Legge said.

This year a buffet lunch will replace the formal lunch, so the expo can stay open until 2.30pm, giving brokers more time with exhibitors.

Registrations to exhibit or attend a pre-expo breakfast have opened via the UAC website.

Brokers can use the UAC events app to pre-register and use their smartphones to scan exhibitors’ QR codes, to obtain continuing professional development points and gain information on exhibitors.
