The Underwriting Agencies Council has opened exhibitor registrations for this year’s Adelaide Underwriting Expo, to be held on September 12.

GM William Legge says more than 20 underwriting agencies committed to exhibit within just two hours of registrations being accepted.

“Market ramifications” are highlighting the importance of the underwriting agency sector complementing major insurer offerings, he says.

“Agencies provide product line expertise and, given their specialist niche markets, have the ability to be entrepreneurial, responsive, dynamic and nimble. That’s what brokers are seeking in this hardening market.”

A complimentary broker lunch will be served during the 2019 expo, to be held at the Adelaide Hilton’s Grand Ballroom.
