The Underwriting Agencies Council has endorsed the new underwriting agencies education program offered by the College of Professional Education for Lloyd’s coverholders and their staff.

The program, offered by the college and Lloyd’s Australia, offers a Certificate IV in General Insurance for individuals operating under a delegated authority and the Advanced Diploma of Financial Licensing Management designed for senior professionals with overall binder responsibilities.

The college’s Director of Courses, Gordon Taylor, told insuranceNEWS.com.au the UAC endorsement is a great vote of confidence in the course, coming on top of endorsement by Lloyd’s.

The course was launched at the UAC Expo in Brisbane last month and Mr Taylor says enquiries have been “building steadily” since then.
