Two state finalists for the National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) annual Warren Tickle Memorial Award have been named, with NSW and SA announcing state winners in recent days.

Andrew Fleming from Adelaide-based MGA Insurance Brokers is this year’s SA/NT winner, while Rhys James from Nadic Insurance Brokers winning the NSW award.

The award is sponsored by Vero Insurance. The state finalists’ prize includes airfares and accommodation to attend a personal development workshop in Sydney, as well as registration fees to attend the NIBA Convention in Sydney in September, where the Warren Tickle Memorial Award winner will be named. 

The Warren Tickle Memorial Award recognises outstanding standards of professionalism and integrity among brokers aged under 35. The national prize includes a trip for two to London incorporating an educational program, accommodation and spending money.

John May from IC Frith & Associates was also named NSW Broker of the Year at the NIBA Ball in Sydney at the weekend. The award is sponsored by Zurich Australia.
