Insurance industry stalwart John Trowbridge is poised to join the board of MDA National in January.

MDA National MD Peter Forbes says Mr Trowbridge’s extensive experience “adds yet another competitive edge to the business for 2012”.

“His experience will be invaluable in further building on the group’s long-standing financial stability,” Mr Forbes said.

Mr Trowbridge, a former Executive Member of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and Chairman of the Federal Government’s recently completed Natural Disaster Insurance Review, is currently the interim director of Australia’s Centre for International Finance and Regulation.
