AIG Head of Energy and Engineered Risks Geoff Long died last week, aged 59.

Mr Long joined AIG nine years ago after a two-decade career with Swiss Re.

AIG Australia CEO Noel Condon says tributes and condolences poured into the company all week, with one broker saying Mr Long was “a highly regarded underwriter and an absolute gentleman”.

Mr Long’s funeral is being held this afternoon. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.
