Treasurer headlines NSW infrastructure risk forum

NSW Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian will be a keynote speaker at the Infrastructure Risk NSW forum at Parliament House in Sydney on March 31.

The meeting will examine the State Government’s plan to invest $20 billion in infrastructure under its Rebuilding NSW strategy, its impact on the construction industry and the risk allocation required.

The Australian Insurance Law Association, Engineers Australia and JLT will be joint presenters at the forum. Justice David Hammerschlag, Head of the NSW Supreme Court Technology and Construction List, will host the event.

A panel of experts will also offer commentary on Rebuilding NSW, including Cameron Holmes, Head of Construction, Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance; Mike Rollo, Chief Risk Officer, CIMIC; Michael Blythe, Chief Economist, Commonwealth Bank; and Greg Skehan, Senior Partner, Colin Biggers & Paisley.

The cost is $95 per person and the event opens at 5pm.
