Top marks for young loss adjusters
New Zealand loss adjusters took two of the three Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters examination awards at the 2011 Claims Convention in Sydney last week.
Phillip Barnard of Cunningham Lindsay NZ received the Loss Adjusting Diploma Prize for scoring the highest overall mark in his studies.
The Syd McDonald Young Adjuster Award, which recognises brokers under 35 who complete the course with the highest mark, went to Peter Bakker of TPA Godfrey in New Zealand.
Brisbane adjuster Tina Bayar of Crawford & Company won the Charles Buchanan award for scoring the highest mark in any of the eight course modules, with a high distinction in liability loss adjusting.
