The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) will have Australian Securities and Investments Commission Commissioner Peter Kell and Shadow Assistant Treasurer Mathias Cormann speaking at its national roadshow next month.

Mr Kell will talk on the implication of FOFA, including codes of conduct.

AFA CEO Richard Klipin says that with the changing industry environment, having two high-calibre speakers is important to help members understand the implications.

“It’s a time of great change in the industry and important to have speakers of this calibre prepared to talk to our members,” he said.

Other speakers include AFA award-winners Olivia Maragna, Mark Rattigan and Troy McMillan. 

The roadshow will start in Hobart on July 17 and then visit Adelaide (July 18), Perth (July 19), Melbourne (July 24), Sydney (July 25) and Brisbane (July 26).
