Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has appointed Cindy Gunawan as its new special risks underwriter for Asia Pacific.   

Ms Gunawan, who worked at TMK from 2016 to 2020, re-joins the firm following a stint at Marsh as Vice President for its Political Risks and Structured Credit team.   

Her new role at TMK will focus on developing the specialist insurer’s political risk and trade credit, political violence and terrorism portfolios across Asia, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.  

Ms Gunawan will start her role from August 14, reporting to TMK’s regional underwriting director for Asia Pacific, Jamie Tang.
