Tim Searle has re-joined law firm Clyde & Co’s insurance group in Perth after a two-year stint at Wotton & Kearney, bringing a team of lawyers with him.

Also joining Clyde & Co in Perth are Special Counsels Gemma Cooper and Jade Macukat, Senior Associate Alexander Gregg and four associates.

Mr Searle, who worked at Clyde & Co for more than seven years until October 2019, has acted for global insurers in COVID-19 related matters. He specialises in professional indemnity, D&O, property damage, business interruption, public and products liability and construction insurance.

Clyde & Co says he regularly advises insurance and reinsurance companies, Lloyd’s underwriters and financial institutions on disputes, claims, coverage issues, recoveries and commercial issues across construction, mining and resources, professional services and energy.

Mr Searle will work alongside partner Jehan-Philippe Wood.

Clyde and Co also recently appointed Patrick Boardman and Jacques Jacobs as Sydney-based partners in the insurance area.
