Tech pioneer Lisa Woodley departs Steadfast
Steadfast EGM Broker Technology Lisa Woodley left the company last week after a restructure of the company’s technology arm.
Ms Woodley worked at Steadfast for 12 years and led the establishment of the group’s technology business.
She was instrumental in the creation of the Steadfast Client Trading Platform, which wrote $440 million in gross written premium last financial year. She also led the redesign of the Insight broking platform launched in 2016.
Ms Woodley has worked in insurance technology for her entire career spanning some 40 years. She worked at BIM Technologies in the late 90s before it was sold to Telstra.
She then worked on the development of Telstra’s Sunrise Exchange platform, which was sold to US insurance technology company Ebix in 2007.
“Each platform I worked on involved disrupting and changing the game,” Ms Woodley told insuranceNEWS.com.au today. “There is a lot more to come."
