Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Fred Kleiterp as Head of Asia-Pacific.

He will move to Singapore from Switzerland, where he has been working as head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Mr Kleiterp will be responsible for expansion in the region.

“Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is building a clear regional focus and plans to develop its local resources across all functions,” he said.

“Asia-Pacific is a very dynamic and diverse area, well suited to this approach, which will enable us to strengthen and broaden our relations with brokers and clients and bring our offering closer to them.”

Mr Kleiterp will continue fulfilling his EMEA responsibilities until a successor is appointed.
