They might have lost to Carlton in a thriller at the Sydney Cricket Ground, but AFL side the Sydney Swans were outstanding on the field on Friday night thanks to a new guernsey commemorating their 25-year sponsorship by QBE.

The one-off special edition guernsey also celebrated QBE’s 125^th anniversary, featuring red and white hoops with “Celebrating 125 Years” woven into the material.

QBE announced last week that it will continue its partnership with the Swans for another five years until the end of the 2016 home-and-away season.

Australia Asia Pacific CEO Vince McLenaghan says QBE’s 25-year long commitment to the Swans reflects the company’s philosophy of “nurturing long-term mutually rewarding partnerships”.
