Suncorp has announced the departure of Chief Transformation Officer Clayton Herbert.

Mr Herbert had worked with Suncorp since 1999, and was appointed to his latest role in March last year, to lead implementation of the insurer’s new operating model.

His departure follows the appointment of Microsoft Australia MD Pip Marlow as Suncorp’s CEO Strategic Innovation.

As reported in a Breaking News bulletin last month, Ms Marlow will join Suncorp in March and play a key role in delivering its customer strategy.

Suncorp has also announced a Customer Advocate function to be led by EGM Customer Experience and Group Customer Advocate Debra Tagg.

Chief Customer Experience Officer Mark Reinke says the new function will identify and deliver opportunities to provide better services to customers.
