Suncorp has signed a sponsorship deal with the Queensland Ballet and extended its partnership with Queensland Rugby League, as it looks to back communities in its home state.

CEO Patrick Snowball says the insurer is proud of its roots in Queensland.

“Sports and the arts are important outlets for many young Queenslanders and we know their involvement in these activities has the power to change lives,” he said.

Suncorp hopes to help lift the “world-class” Queensland Ballet to new heights, while the rugby league deal will build on a partnership dating back 12 years.

The latest agreement will see the Suncorp logo appear on the front of Queensland State of Origin jerseys from next year.
