Suncorp says its approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) continues to be integral to how it does business.

The insurer has released its second CSR review, which looks at how the company has performed over the past year.

It describes its commitment to CSR as “a responsible approach” to customers, employees, community and the environment.

“We want to be recognised not only for the profits we make, but for the many positive impacts we have,” CEO Patrick Snowball said.

The review lists Suncorp’s involvement in various community programs and its commitment to environmental awareness.

The insurer has also been vocal about the need for governments to prioritise investment in disaster mitigation in vulnerable areas.
