AMP has appointed Natasha Fenech as MD of its self-managed super fund (SMSF) business.

Ms Fenech is currently EGM Personal Insurance Customer, Product and Pricing at Suncorp. She will start the newly created AMP role in February and report to Chief Customer Officer Paul Sainsbury.

Mr Sainsbury says the appointment is important for the growth of AMP’s SMSF capabilities.

Ms Fenech has been with Suncorp for seven years. Before that she held positions including head of corporate planning and analysis at Citigroup, senior management consultant at AT Kearney and actuarial roles at Zurich Financial Services and Royal & SunAlliance.
