Suncorp Commercial Insurance has appointed Ed Rawnsley as National Manager of Construction, Surety and Engineering, following the retirement of Don McKenzie.

Mr Rawnsley was previously Suncorp’s national manager of professional and financial risks, a role he held from 2005.

“Edward established a very strong track record during his leadership of the professional and financial risks team, forging many relationships with key brokers both in Australia and internationally,” EGM Commercial Portfolio & Underwriting Management Darren O’Connell said.

Mr McKenzie led the construction and engineering team for six years.
