Stuart Beatty has been named as the new Asia-Pacific MD for JLT Re, the reinsurance wing of global broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson.

He was formerly the Asia-Pacific EMD of Aon Benfield Fac.

JLT Re MD Alistair Lockhart-Smith says the appointment of Mr Beatty signals a “drive to increase our presence and market share” in the Asia-Pacific region.
