IAG Chief Strategy Officer Leona Murphy has been named a finalist in the Australian Financial Review/Westpac 100 Women of Influence Awards.

Ms Murphy is one of 100 women shortlisted from 500 entries, and is nominated in the awards’ “global” category.

Along with her role at IAG, Ms Murphy co-chairs the board of the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative’s Principles for Sustainable Insurance project.

The awards honour Australian women who have changed perceptions and opportunities for women in the corporate sector.

Insurance News (the magazine) will feature an exclusive interview with Ms Murphy in its October/November edition.
