Stella COO moves on after ‘truly rewarding experience’
Renee Cosgrave has left Stella Insurance after five years, most recently as COO.
Stella, founded by high-profile British entrepreneur Sam White, specialises in motor cover for women, underwritten by QBE.
Ms White told Ms Cosgrave she would “take a lot from this experience with you”.
“Stella wouldn’t have been the same without you and it carries on with strong foundations that you have been a critical part of,” Ms White said.
“I will look forward to seeing you continue to grow in your next role.”
Stella has supported more than 30,000 customers in the past five years, launched pet and travel insurance, and won 18 industry awards. By donating $5 from every new policy, it raised more than $150,000 for the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre.
“I’ve learnt and grown so much from building this start-up in Australia and leading this purpose-driven business dedicated to empowering women,” Ms Cosgrave said. “It has been an immense honour and a truly rewarding experience.”
