Steadfast Group has appointed Kim Matthews to the board of Steadfast New Zealand, replacing Chris Hughes.

Ms Matthews has held senior commercial broking roles across New Zealand over many decades and is currently the leader of business development at Rothbury Insurance Brokers, which she joined in 2007, providing commercial, domestic and rural insurance and risk solutions to clients across a wide geographical spread.

“Kim’s broad operational and insurance experience as well as her business leadership will bring a considerate and strategic perspective to the board,” Steadfast Group MD and CEO Robert Kelly said.

Mr Hughes is EGM Broking Services and Business Operations at Rothbury and leaves the Steadfast board after almost five years as director.
