Steadfast has established a broker board to provide expertise to the company board.

Its members will bring “great expertise across accounting, marketing and operational structures”, MD Robert Kelly told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

Former QBE Asia-Pacific Chief Risk Officer Jim Rudkin is the chairman and board members are Mr Kelly, Steadfast Underwriting Agencies CEO Simon Lightbody, Edgewise Insurance Brokers Chairman Gary Seymour, National Credit Insurance Deputy Chairman Ian Box, Holdfast Insurance Brokers owner Greg Stewart and Emergence Insurance Group director Troy Filipcevic.

Mr Kelly says the board will review acquisitions and the broker group’s financial performance.

It will also provide advice and “operate is a less formal way than the Steadfast board”.
