Steadfast looks ahead after anniversary conference
Next year’s Steadfast Convention will be at the International Convention Centre Sydney from April 1-4.
More than 2300 people attended this year’s event at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre last week, making it by far the largest insurance conference in Australia.
Steadfast celebrated its 20-year anniversary, with MD and CEO Robert Kelly cutting a giant birthday cake during the opening ceremony at the convention.
This year’s convention charity was Parkinson’s Australia, for which delegates raised more than $177,000.
Darren Halley from Roderick Insurance Brokers won a $5000 travel voucher.
Delegates enjoyed highlights including a spectacular riverside fireworks display on the Sunday while listening to Voice Australia runner-up Joe Moore sing.
The final night dinner brought delegates together for a great night of entertainment, with 2015 X Factor winner Cyrus Villanueva getting the crowd on their feet and dancing.
