Steadfast Convention kicks off with spectacular welcome
Melbourne’s South Wharf was the place to be last night as the Steadfast Convention got under way with a welcome session at the Showtime Events Centre.
More than 2000 people are expected to attend this year’s three-day convention, which is the largest annual gathering of insurance professionals in Australia.
Broker-only sessions were held this morning, and this afternoon’s keynote speakers include Olympic champion and world record-holding swimmer Ariarne Titmus and her coach Dean Boxall, and Lloyd’s chief commercial officer Dawn Miller.
Tuesday’s keynote speakers include Fremantle Dockers women’s coach Michelle Cowan and Luxury Escapes co-founder Adam Schwab, before the convention closes with a “night at the theatre” gala dinner.
The event’s charity partner is Free 3D Hands, an Australian organisation that designs and makes 3D-printed assistive devices.
