More than 2100 professionals flooded the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre today as the Steadfast Convention opened.

Steadfast MD and CEO Robert Kelly says this year’s convention marks 20 years since the organisation was formed. To mark the occasion, a giant birthday cake was cut by Mr Kelly.

“We’ve come a long way in 20 years, introducing a wide range of services for clients and members,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“We’ve focused on driving out cost and introducing innovative solutions that drive the costs to brokers way down.”

The number of day delegates coming to the Steadfast Convention from around Brisbane is expected to push attendance figures to new heights.
