Outstanding brokers from Steadfast companies were honoured at the group’s convention in Adelaide last week.

The awards, run by Steadfast and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), recognise the highest grades in ANZIIF broking modules.

The winners of this year’s young insurance professional and outstanding achievement awards are:

• Steadfast-ANZIIF young insurance professional scholarship: Stephanie Meredith, Ausure Group
• Outstanding achievement in customer advice: Stephanie Meredith, Ausure Group
• Insurance law and regulation for brokers: Bianca Whild, Finn Foster & Associates
• Claims handling for insurance brokers: Patrick Gallivan, Network Insurance Group, and Rachael Smeed, Phoenix Insurance Brokers
• Risk assessment, management: Taylor Burstow, Willis Australia
• Managing insurance broking operations: Thomas Munyard, CKA Risk Solutions
• Insurance products: Angelo Stathopoulos, Guardian Insurance Brokers.

The winners receive free enrolment in an ANZIIF insurance broking module and travel and accommodation at the Steadfast Convention. Scholarship winner Ms Meredith also receives free enrolment in the rest of her broking course.
