Dermot McComiskey will leave Chubb Insurance at the end of this week, after almost 19 years’ service.

He joined the company as casualty manager in 1995, and has spent the past eight years as Melbourne Branch Manager.

Mr McComiskey told insuranceNEWS.com.au he is not retiring but is in no rush to find a new position.

“I’ve been working since 1985 and I’ve taken a decision to have a career break. I’m going to take some time out of the industry, spend some time with the family and take it from there.
