Marsh Australia executive director Craig Whitehead is to leave the company after more than 30 years’ service.

He most recently led the commercial and consumer segments, and he will stay on to help the business transition before the launch of SME specialist subsidiary Marsh Advantage Insurance.

Lyn Blackwood, GM Business Strategy in the commercial and consumer segments, is also leaving “to pursue other opportunities”, a spokesman told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

In 2010 Ms Blackwood won the Lex McKeown Trophy for services to broking and the National Insurance Brokers Association.
