Sophie Henderson will join Sedgwick’s forensic accounting services team in Australia as a partner.

She has more than 14 years’ forensic accounting experience, including specialising in major business interruption claims across several sectors.

She joins Sedgwick from accounting advisory firm Baker Tilly, where she was director of the forensics, litigation and valuation services team from 2019.  

Sedgwick’s professional service in Australia EGM Kimberley Daley says Ms Henderson’s “considerable experience in evaluating large and complex losses and business interruption claims will serve to support the needs of our clients”.

“Her background in handling economic losses for multimillion-dollar first-party insurance claims, including stock and contingent business interruption, subrogated recoveries, reinsurance and commercial litigation, will benefit the work we do in Australia as we continue to grow our offerings and support demand for forensic accounting services in the market,” Ms Daley said.
