Loss adjuster Sedgwick has named former RACQ Insurance executive Kate Johnstone as its new Head of Risk in Australia.

She is responsible for developing the loss adjuster’s risk and compliance business and overseeing its regulatory compliance.

Over her 25-year insurance career Ms Johnstone has served in senior executive roles at Youi, Allianz and Suncorp. Prior to her appointment at Sedgwick, Ms Johnstone was RACQ Insurance’s chief Risk Officer.

Her appointment follows Sedgwick’s appointment of Talei Morgan as its new Head of Liability for Australia.
