Roundtable to weigh industry's approach to women
Leaders from Zurich, QBE Ventures and McLardy McShane will discuss “the future of insurance for women” at a virtual roundtable on Thursday.
The session, hosted by insurtech Kanopi, will examine whether the industry is designing products that reflect women’s lives.
Kanopi says that for decades, the industry has relied on legacy data models “rooted in a male perspective”.
As technology and customer expectations evolve, it says there is a unique opportunity to “reimagine insurance for women”.
“From career breaks to caregiving, health needs to financial independence, women navigate unique challenges – yet many traditional insurance models still don’t account for them,” Kanopi founder and CEO Nigel Fellowes-Freeman said.
“With AI, data and innovation transforming the industry, we have a rare opportunity to rethink how insurance serves women today and into the future.”
The event will feature QBE Ventures global head of strategy and partnerships Lynn Thompson, Zurich head of technology and transformation Jacqui Lennon, and McLardy McShane chief technology and innovation officer Janine Shipton. Register here.
