Rothbury appoints two managers in Auckland

New Zealand’s Rothbury Insurance Brokers has appointed two new managers in Auckland.

Treena Rowley takes the role of EGM - Broking Services and Business Operations, providing companywide strategic leadership, while Megan Hodgson is National Domestic Manager.

“It’s exciting to build capability,” Rothbury MD Roger Abel said. “Our new appointments bring significant expertise to the business with many collective years of insurance and business leadership experience.”

Ms Rowley was most recently Head of Client Delivery at Crombie Lockwood and formerly held senior roles at Lumley Insurance and IAG. She replaces Chris Hughes who has departed Rothbury after 16 years to become EM Broker and Specialty Claims at IAG in Auckland.

Ms Hodgson was most recently Corporate Partner Relationship Lead at Vero, where she spent 15 years, and she also worked at QBE for 8 years. Her appointment comes after Brigitte Windsor departed the role to be Rothbury GM National Partnerships and Facilities.

Rothbury says it is the third largest insurance broker in New Zealand, with over 47,000 clients and 25 locations nationwide.
