New Zealand-based brokerage Rothbury Insurance Brokers has appointed Nathan Barrett as its new EGM for IT Operations and Commercial Services.

The brokerage says Mr Barrett will guide the improvement of the company’s IT services for its customer base and provide strategic leadership across the firm.

Mr Barrett joins Rothbury from rural-specialist mutual insurer FMG Insurance, where he served in several senior roles across his 16 years at the company.

Rothbury MD Roger Abel says Mr Barrett’s appointment brings “more capacity and expertise” to the firm’s executive team and will further strengthen the business.
