QBE will sponsor the Risk Management Institution of Australasia’s (RMIA) annual conference in November, under a strategic partnership announced last Friday.

The insurer will also help the RMIA facilitate “local chapter and thought leadership”.

“Both QBE and the RMIA are championing the importance of risk management within the business community and facilitating innovation within the risk management arena,” QBE EGM Intermediary Distribution Jason Clarke said.

“By partnering, we are confident these efforts will be amplified.”

The RMIA conference is in Canberra from November 15-17. More than 450 risk professionals from the Asia-Pacific region are expected to attend.
