RMIA picks its top risk manager

CBH Group CRO Rob Maurich has been named Risk Manager of the Year at the Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA) conference.

The Peter Pope Memorial Award for Risk Student of the Year was presented to Michael Jozwik, a Masters of Risk Management graduate from Monash University who is employed by Pitcher Partners.

Perth-based Mr Maurich has been CRO at CBH since 2007 and has more than 25 years in chartered accountancy and consultancy roles.

RMIA President Sharon Aitken presented appreciation certificates to chapter presidents Bryan Whitefield (NSW), Paul Rolek (Queensland) and Sally Bennett (Victoria). RMIA director Peter Brass and SA Risk Odyssey Conference organiser Darryl Bruhn were also presented with appreciation certificates.
