RMIA conference examines crisis management
Communication in times of crisis is among the themes at the Risk Management Institution of Australasia’s (RMIA) national conference in Adelaide.
Former US National Security Council spokesman Bob Jensen will return to Australia to expand on the issue, which he addressed before a sell-out crowd at an RMIA event earlier this year.
Rob Chapman, the Chairman of Adelaide Airport, Adelaide Football Club and Barossa Infrastructure, will discuss risk and the business of sport, and Sydney Opera House safety and security heads Jessica Doyle and David Crossley will speak on managing risks in a live environment.
There will be sessions on enterprise risk management, business continuity and crisis management, risk finance and insurance, local government, and people, culture and ethics.
The conference is from November 11-13. For details, visit here.
